Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver opportunity regional route in the western US. Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on flatbed equipment. Competitive pay and benefits with home time; orientation and transition pay provided. Requires valid CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months experience, clean driving record, background check, drug test, and ability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot platform during orientation. System Transport emphasizes safety and modern equipment with extensive pay/bonus structures and PTO. Drive on regional routes with off-most weekends for a 34-hour reset; participate in tarping and load securement as part of daily duties. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation for tarp handling (approx. 70% of loads tarp)
