Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed driver needed for regional routes with System Transport. Drive flatbed equipment hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals in the western region. Competitive compensation includes weekly and annual pay, multiple accessorial pays (tarp, stop, detention, border crossing, safety, and over-dimensional), transition/orientation pay, and comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO expectancies). Must be 21+, have a valid CDL-A, 4+ months experience, pass background and drug tests, and meet Clearinghouse requirements. Physical ability to tarp loads up to 90 pounds onto a 5-foot high platform is required and tested during orientation.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
