Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver needed for regional routes. Transport materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, and coils. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay figures, plus accessorial pay (tarp, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses, mileage) and a transition/orientation pay package. Home time off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; Division 290 in Kansas City, MO. Full benefits after eligibility waiting period (health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k) with matching, life insurance, EAP).
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience preferred but not required (minimum required)
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background check
- Clean drug test
- Clean Clearinghouse result
- Ability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
- Physically able to tarp loads (approximately 70% of loads)
