Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed driver needed for regional routes with System Transport. Role includes hauling flatbed loads (glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, specialty metals) across the western region and potentially OT R. Pay packages include weekly and annual earnings, transition and orientation pay, and a comprehensive benefits package. Driver must tarp loads, lift 90 pounds, pass background and drug tests, and maintain a clean Clearinghouse record. Home time varies by division; this fleet emphasizes safety and paid training, with opportunities for advancement and a strong employer culture. Home time off most weekends for a 34-hour reset; two identified terminals for this role are Kansas City, MO and Bondurant, IA.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarping loads) during orientation
