Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A Regional Driver opportunity with System Transport. Driver will operate on regional routes hauling flatbed loads such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive weekly and annual pay with accessorial pay (tarp pay, stop pay, detention pay, border crossing pay, safety bonuses, and tarp-related pay), plus transition/orientation pay and comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k) with matching, life insurance, EAP). Home time includes most weekends off with a 34-hour reset; 34-hour resets and varied home time by division. Physical requirement includes tarping loads (approximately 70% of loads tarped) up to 90 pounds on a 5-foot platform during orientation. Requires CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months experience, clean background and drug test, and a compliant Clearinghouse result.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
