Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed driver for regional routes in the western US. Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals using flatbed equipment. Tarping is required on roughly 70% of loads, including lifting a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot platform during orientation. Full pay package includes mileage pay plus accessorial pay (tarp, stop, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses, and other Pay). Transition and orientation pay provided. Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; multiple route options available with Division 290. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (will be tested during orientation)
