Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A regional driver role with System Transport. Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on regional routes. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay, transition/orientation pay, comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, sick time), and home time with most weekends off for a 34-hour reset. Requires valid Class A CDL, 21+, 4+ months driving experience (or recent CDL-A graduate accepted), clean driving record, background check, drug test, and Clearinghouse compliance. Flatbed-specific duties include tarp handling (up to ~90 pounds) and securement on loads; orientation pay and various accessorial pays included. System Transport emphasizes safety and offers driver support, equipment maintenance, and a driver portal.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years or older
- 4+ months driving experience required
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (will be tested during orientation)
- Ability to tarp loads and handle flatbed equipment
