Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver for regional routes. Route type: Regional. Equipment: Flatbed. Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay packages, transition/orientation pay, and extensive benefits. Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset. Required: valid CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months driving experience, safe driving record, background check, drug test, and a clear Clearinghouse. Physically capable of lifting a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot-high platform twice; tarp work comprises ~70% of loads. System Transport is an equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarping about 70% of loads)
