Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed driver needed for regional and occasional OT routes to haul heavy loads (glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, specialty metals) in the western US. Responsibilities include operating flatbed equipment, securing loads with tarps, and complying with safety requirements. Competitive pay packages with weekly and annual pay ranges, plus extensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO), transition and orientation pay, and other pay protections. Home time generally off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; opportunities to work various route options and receive turn-key onboarding benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarping ~70% of loads)
