Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A Driver for Regional Route with System Transport. Drive flatbed equipment on regional/OTR lanes, transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Responsibilities include loading/unloading and tarping heavy loads (90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform), maintaining safe operation, and complying with all regulations. Compensation includes weekly pay and annual pay with a comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k) with match, life insurance, PTO). Transition and orientation pay are provided, along with various accessorial pays (tarps, stop, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses) and per-mile rates ($0.57-$0.71/mile). Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; the role requires valid CDL-A, minimum 21 years old, and acceptable driving history. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (testing during orientation)
- Ability to tarp loads on flatbed
