Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A Driver needed for a regional route with System Transport (Division 290, Kansas City, MO). Drive flatbed equipment, hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Comprehensive pay and benefits package includes weekly pay, annual pay range, transition/orientation pay, health, dental, vision, 401(k) with matching, life insurance, PTO accrual, and additional pay types (tarps, detentions, border crossing, safety bonuses, and other accessorial pay). Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset. Requires valid Class A CDL, 21+, 4+ months driving experience, safe driving record, and ability to lift 90 pounds to tarp loads; background check and drug/testing requirements apply. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. System Transport will test this during orientation
