Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed driver needed for regional routes with System Transport. Responsible for transporting durable goods such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on flatbed equipment. Indicators include weekly pay and annual earnings in the mid-to-high five figures, a $1,800 transition package with orientation pay, strong safety and benefits packages, and home time with weekends off for a 34-hour reset. Requirements include 4+ months of driving experience, a valid CDL-A, a safe driving record, ability to lift a 90-pound tarp, pass a background check and drug test, and meet Clearinghouse standards. Equipment includes flatbeds with tarp operations and regional or OTR routes; pay includes per-mile rates and various accessorial pays, with opportunities for growth within a safety-conscious, equal-opportunity environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (testing during orientation)
