Job Summary
Drive for System Transport as a CDL-A flatbed driver on regional routes. Expect flatbed loads (glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, specialty metals) with pay packages including weekly pay and annual earnings in the six-figure range depending on experience and length of service. Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; orientation and transition pay provided. Equipment features and safety systems support driver performance and compliance. Eligible candidates have a valid CDL-A, are at least 21, meet experience requirements, and pass background, drug, and Clearinghouse checks. Flatbed tarping is required for loads, with some pay adders (tarps, detention, stop, safety, etc.).
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
