Job Summary
CDL-A Flatbed Driver needed for a Regional Route with System Transport in the western US. You'll transport materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils and specialty metals on flatbed equipment. Competitive pay includes weekly pay and annual pay ranges, plus accessorial pay (tarp, stop, detention, border crossing, safety, and other) and a transition/orientation package. Home time includes weekends off with a 34-hour reset. Benefits available after eligibility waiting period (health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k) with match, life insurance, EAP, PTO accrual). Driving with a focus on safety and compliance, including background checks and drug testing. Hiring qualifications emphasize CDL-A, age 21+, driving experience, clean records, and the ability to lift 90 pounds for tarp duties. Recent CDL-A graduates are accepted.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (driving tarp about 70% of loads); System Transport will test this during orientation
