Job Summary
Drive flatbed trucks on regional routes delivering glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Must hold a valid CDL-A and have 4+ months of driving experience; ability to tarp loads (90 pounds onto a 5-foot platform) will be tested during orientation. Competitive weekly and annual pay with accessorial pay, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k) with matching, life insurance, PTO, and transition/orientation pay. Home time typically includes weekends off for a 34-hour reset; equipment is designed for flatbed operations; opportunities to earn tarp, stop, detention, border crossing, and other pay. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background check
- Clean drug test
- Clean Clearinghouse result
- Physically able to lift 90-pound tarp onto 5-foot high platform twice (in orientation)
