Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver needed for regional routes (Division 290) based in Kansas City, MO. Drive flatbed equipment transporting materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Full-time opportunity with home time off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Compensation includes weekly pay, annual pay range of roughly $56,949.36–$102,993.80, and additional accessorial pay (tarps, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses, and more). Transition and orientation pay provided; comprehensive benefits after eligibility waiting period (health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, life insurance, EAP, PTO). Requirements: valid Class A CDL, 21+, 4+ months experience, clean driving record, background check, drug test, Clearinghouse, ability to tarp 90-pound tarps on a 5-foot platform twice during orientation. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads.
