Job Summary
Regional flatbed CDL-A driver needed to transport building materials, glass, steel, aluminum, machinery, coils, and specialty metals in the western region. Responsibilities include operating flatbed equipment, tarp handling, and meeting pay/benefit expectations as part of System Transport’s safety-focused fleet. Driver type is Experienced CDL-A; home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset. Compensation includes weekly and annual pay with scale-based accessorial pay (tarps, detentions, border crossing, safety bonuses) and a transition/orientation pay package. Requires valid CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months’ driving experience, clean driving record, background check, drug test, Clearinghouse check, and the ability to lift tarps as specified. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- A Clean Drug Test required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation
