Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed driver needed for regional (and occasional OTR) routes. Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on flatbeds. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay figures, plus accessorial pay (tarP pay, stop pay, detention pay, border crossing pay, safety bonuses, and over-dimensional pay). Orientation and transition pay are included. Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset. Includes generous benefits (health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k) with matching, life insurance, PTO accrual). Requires valid CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months driving experience, clean driving record, background check, drug test, and Clearinghouse compliance. Physical tarp-lifting requirement (90 pounds onto a 5-foot platform) demonstrated during orientation. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
- System Transport will tarp about 70% of loads
