Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed regional/OTR driving role with System Transport. Drives transport of flatbed loads (glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, specialty metals) in the western region (Division 290, Kansas City, MO). Requires lifting tarps (90 lbs) and paying attention to safety, with weekly pay, transition/orientation pay, comprehensive benefits, and home time with 34-hour resets. Competitive pay ranging from weekly and annual totals depending on experience, with additional accessorial pay (tarps, stops, detention, border crossing, and scale-based pay).
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- safe driving record
- no more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- background check
- clean drug test
- clean Clearinghouse
- ability to lift 90-pound tarp onto 5-foot high platform twice
