Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed driver needed for regional routes in the western US. Haul glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on flatbeds. Strong pay package with weekly and annual earnings potential, plus accessorial pay (tarps, detention, stop, border crossing, safety bonuses) and transition/orientation pay. Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; position requires lifting a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot platform twice and tarping about 70% of loads. Must have 4+ months driving experience, a safe driving record, and pass background, clearinghouse, and drug tests. Pets not allowed; riders allowed after 90 days for eligible drivers. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (to be tested during orientation)
- Ability to tarp loads (approximately 70% of loads)
