Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed driver for regional/OTR routes with System Transport. Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals using flatbed equipment. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay figures, plus accessorial pays (tarp, stop, detention, border crossing, safety, and over-dimensional pay). Includes transition/orientation pay, health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with matching, PTO accrual, and other benefits. Home time off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; 34-hour reset schedule varies by division. Applicants must have a valid CDL-A, be 21+, and meet all listed hiring requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. System Transport will test this during orientation
