Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver for a regional route with System Transport. Drive flatbed equipment delivering materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals across the western region. Includes tarp handling, payable accessorials (tarp, stop, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses), and transition/orientation pay. Home time off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; full benefits after eligibility waiting period; regular pay and opportunities for advancement. Must meet minimum qualifications and pass background/drug tests; equal-opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years or older
- 4+ months driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (will be tested during orientation)
Additional Requirements
- No pets allowed
- Rider policy allows riders aged 7+ after 90 days of safe driving
