Job Summary
Operate flatbed trucks on regional routes transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Earn competitive pay with weekly and annual pay, plus accessorial pay (tarps, detention, stop, border crossing, etc.). Orientation pay and a transition package are provided. Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset. Must have a valid CDL-A, be 21+, have 4+ months of driving experience, and meet background/drug/Clearinghouse requirements. Flatbed tarping of heavy loads is required as part of duties.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarping ~70% of loads)
