Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed regional driver opportunity hauling materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on regional routes. Home time varies by division with most weekends off for a 34-hour reset. Competitive weekly and annual pay with accessorial pay (tarps, stop, detention, border crossing), plus transition and orientation pay and comprehensive benefits. Requires successful completion of background check and drug test, plus Clearinghouse and tarping capability. Training and experience preferred, with emphasis on safety and reliable home time. You will operate flatbed equipment across regional routes, ensuring secure loading of cargo and adherence to safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (demonstrated during orientation)
- Ability to tarp loads (approximately 70% of loads)
