Job Summary
CDL-A Flatbed Driver for Regional Route with System Transport. Drives flatbed equipment on regional routes in the western US; transports glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive pay with weekly/annual earnings potential, comprehensive benefits after eligibility waiting period, and transition/orientation pay. Requires ability to tarp loads (90 lb tarp), adherence to safety policies, and completion of background check and drug testing. Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; primary division is Division 290 in Kansas City, MO. Eligible candidates may include recent CDL-A graduates within the limits of the stated requirements and will be evaluated for route length, attendance, and length of service.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background Check
- Clean Drug Test
- Clean Clearinghouse result
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation (70% tarp loads)
