Job Summary
Responsible for operating a flatbed CDL-A truck on regional and OTR routes for System Transport, hauling materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Offers competitive pay and benefits, with orientation and transition pay, home time with weekends off for a 34-hour reset, and a route-focused schedule. Requires valid CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months driving experience, safe driving record, background check, drug test, and Clearinghouse clearance. Flatbed-specific duties include tarp handling (approximately 70% of loads) and the physical capability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform during orientation. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Age 21 or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarps involved)
