Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver needed for regional routes with System Transport. Responsibilities include hauling flatbed loads such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive pay with weekly and annual earnings presented, plus accessorial pay (tar pay, detention pay, border crossing pay, tarp pay) and transition/orientation pay. Home time typically off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; benefits available after eligibility waiting period. Must have CDL-A, be 21+, and meet driving-record and background-check requirements. Flatbed-specific duties include tarp handling (up to 90 lbs) and tarping about 70% of loads; equipment is modern and safety-focused, with 24/7 support and comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, sick time, etc.). Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarps for ~70% of loads) during orientation
