Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver needed for regional routes with System Transport. Transport materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on flatbeds. Roles include full-time schedule with home time off most weekends (34-hour reset). Compensation includes weekly and annual pay with various accessorial pays and a transition/orientation package. Requires 21+ and a valid CDL-A, 4+ months driving experience, clean driving record, no more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years, and successful background/drug/Clearinghouse checks. Flatbed drivers must be physically able to tarp loads (90-pound tarp) twice per shift, with tarping required on about 70% of loads. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (testing during orientation)
