Job Summary
Experienced CDL-A flatbed driver for regional/OTR routes hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils and specialty metals. Competitive weekly and annual pay with accessorial pay (tarp, stop, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses, overheads) and a comprehensive benefits package. Requires valid CDL-A, 4+ months driving experience, clean driving record, background check and clearinghouse entry; orientation pay and transition package available. Home time off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; zone Division 290 based in Kansas City, MO. Equipment is flatbed with safety-focused operations and 70% tarp load coverage; rides include 24/7 support and an employee-friendly environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation
