Job Summary
Regional flatbed CDL-A driver for System Transport. Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on western-region routes. Requires 4+ months driving experience, a valid CDL-A, a safe driving record, and the ability to tarp loads (lifting ~90 pounds) with tarping required on roughly 70% of loads. Compensation includes weekly pay and annual pay with multiple accessorial pays, plus a comprehensive benefits package and transition/orientation pay. Home time is most weekends with a 34-hour reset; equipment is flatbed and rated for safety with modern driver-support tools. Applicants must meet all standard hiring requirements and pass background, drug, and Clearinghouse checks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarping loads on ~70% of loads)
