Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed regional truck driver transporting building materials (glass, steel, aluminum, machinery, coils, specialty metals) on regional routes. Competitive pay with weekly and annual totals, generous accessorial pay (tarps, stops, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses) and robust benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k) and matching, EAP). Home time with most weekends off for a 34-hour reset. Physical requirement to tarp loads and rotate through orientation with a transition package. Hiring qualifications include valid CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months driving, clean record and clearinghouse results, and ability to lift tarps. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (as tested during orientation)
- System Transport will tarp about 70% of loads
