Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A regional/OTR driver role transporting heavy building materials and specialty metals (glass, steel, aluminum, machinery, coils) on flatbed equipment. Home time includes weekends off for a 34-hour reset. Competitive weekly and annual pay with a comprehensive benefits package, transition/orientation pay, and various accessorial pays (detention, tarp, border crossing, etc.). Experience is preferred; recent CDL-A grads are encouraged to apply. Must meet standard hiring requirements (valid CDL-A, age 21+, driving history, background check, drug test, Clearinghouse) and be physically able to tarp loads as needed. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
- System Transport will test this during orientation
