Job Summary
Drive flatbed trucks on regional and OTR routes transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Maintain a safe driving record with no more than six jobs in the last three years and possess a valid Class A CDL. Perform physical tasks including lifting a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice for securing loads. Operate modern trucks equipped with lane departure warning, hard brake monitoring, and satellite communication. Work a schedule with a 34-hour reset off most weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- A Background Check
- A Clean Drug Test
- A Clean Clearinghouse result
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
