Job Summary
Flatbed CDL Driver on regional routes. Operate flatbed tractor-trailer in the western region, transporting heavy materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. CDL-A required; 21+; 4+ months driving experience; safe driving record; tarps and load securement are part of duties. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay ranges, plus accessorial pay (tarp, stop, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses) and a transition/orientation package. Home time is most weekends with a 34-hour reset; benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and more. No pets; riders allowed after 90 days for eligible drivers. Orientation pay and other transitional supports are offered.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
