Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver for regional routes with System Transport. Responsible for transporting flatbed loads such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive pay with weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, home time with most weekends off for a 34-hour reset, and a transition/orientation pay package. Equipment includes flatbed operations with tarp-related duties (lifting up to 90 pounds onto a 5-foot platform). Hiring qualifications include CDL-A, age 21+, 4+ months driving experience, clean background and drug/test results, and a good Clearinghouse record. Location specified: Elsmere, Kentucky. Primary route type: regional; home time and pay vary by division and length of service. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarps on ~70% of loads)
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
