Job Summary
Regional flatbed CDL-A driver role with System Transport. Load and transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on flatbed equipment across the western region and OTR routes. Competitive pay with weekly and annual compensation, plus accessorial pay (tarp, detention, border-crossing, safety bonuses) and transition/orientation pay. Home time includes weekends off for a 34-hour reset; equipment includes advanced safety features. Requires CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months driving experience, clean record, and ability to tarp loads (90 lb tarps, 70% of loads tarped). Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- A Clean Drug Test required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
