Job Summary
Operate flatbed trucks on regional routes hauling materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Must hold a valid CDL-A and meet standard hiring requirements. Role emphasizes flatbed equipment, tarp handling, and adherence to safety/ regulatory standards. Competitive pay packages with weekly pay, comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k), EAP), transition and orientation pay, and generous PTO. Home time: off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; multiple pay components include mileage and accessorial pay. No pets; rider policy applies after 90 days for eligible riders. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 21 years old
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background check required
- Drug test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (as tested during orientation)
