Job Summary
Flatbed CDL Driver position for regional routes with System Transport. Driver will operate as an experienced CDL-A flatbed driver on regional/OTR routes, hauling items such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive pay with weekly/annual pay, transition/orientation pay, and a comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k) with match, life insurance, PTO/vacation accrual). Requires lifting tarps (90 pounds) onto a 5-foot platform during loads; tarping occurs on roughly 70% of loads. Home time includes weekends off for a 34-hour reset; multiple route options and support from drivers/trainers, with emphasis on safety and modern equipment maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads.
