Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A Driver needed for regional routes in Division 290 (Kansas City terminal). Responsibilities include transporting building materials and specialty metals (glass, steel, aluminum, coils) on flatbed equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and utilizing tarps for load securement. Competitive pay packages with weekly and annual earnings potential, accessorial pay (tarp, stop, detention, border-crossing, safety, over-dimensional), and a transition/orientation pay program. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k) and PTO; home time generally off most weekends with a 34-hour reset. Must meet hiring qualifications and pass background, drug, and Clearinghouse checks.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation
