Job Summary
CDL-A Flatbed Driver needed for Regional/OFR routes with System Transport. Role involves hauling flatbed loads such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive weekly and annual pay with extensive accessorial pay (detention, tarp, border crossing, tarp pay, etc.), transition/orientation pay, and solid benefits (health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k), PTO). Home time mostly on weekends with a 34-hour reset; equipment is modern and safety-focused. Requires valid CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months driving experience, clean driving record, background check, drug test, Clearinghouse checks, and ability to tarp loads (90 lbs) during orientation.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads.
