Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver for regional routes with System Transport. Responsibilities include operating flatbed equipment to transport building materials, glass, steel, aluminum, machinery, coils, and specialty metals across western regions. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay ranges, plus accessorial pay (tarps, detention, border crossing, stop, safety bonuses) and a transition/orientation pay package. Clean drug test and background check required; tarp handling is mandatory. Home time off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; equipment in modern fleets with safety features; extensive benefits after eligibility waiting period. This role emphasizes safe, timely delivery and adherence to flatbed loading/unloading procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Age 21 or older
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background Check
- Clean Drug Test
- Clean Clearinghouse
- Physically able to lift 90-pound tarp onto 5-foot high platform twice during orientation
