Job Summary
Regional flatbed CDL-A truck driver opportunity with System Transport in Division 290 (Elkhart, IN). Drive flatbed on regional routes supporting transportation of glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive pay with weekly pay, annual pay range ($56,949.36–$102,993.80) and extensive accessorial pay (tarp, stop, detention, border crossing, safety, and other pay). Home time includes weekends off for a 34-hour reset; orientation and transition pay included. Benefits available after waiting period (health, dental, vision, 401(k) with matching, life insurance, PTO accrual). Qualifications include CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months experience, safe driving record, background check, drug test, Clearinghouse hit, ability to tarp loads, and adherence to company policies. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
- Tarping loads on flatbed trips (70% of loads)
