Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver for regional/OTR routes with System Transport. Drive flatbed equipment, transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals in the western US. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay scales, along with accessorial pay (tarps, stop, detention, border crossing, tarp handling) and a robust benefits package. Requires 21+, CDL-A, 4+ months driving, clean background/drug/Clearinghouse, and ability to tarp 90 lb loads. Home time typically weekends with a 34-hour reset; multiple route options and orientation pay included.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
- System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads
