Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver for regional routes in the Western U.S. Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Flatbed experience with tarping loads is required; you will tarp about 70% of loads. Must have a valid CDL-A, be 21+, and possess 4+ months of driving experience with a safe driving record. Responsibilities include loading/unloading as needed, tarp application, load securement, and adherence to safety and DOT regulations. Compensation includes weekly pay and annual pay with various accessorial pays; transition/orientation pay and robust benefits are offered. Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; routes are regional (Division 290, KC terminal). Equal Opportunity Employer. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation/onsite tarp work
