Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed regional truck driver role with System Transport. Drives flatbed equipment on regional routes; transports glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive pay with weekly and annual figures, plus accessorial pay (tarps, stop, detention, border crossing, etc.), transition/orientation pay, and a robust benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO). Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset. Requires CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months experience, safe driving record, background and drug screening, and the ability to tarp loads (roughly 90 pounds) during orientation. No pets; riders allowed after 90 days with no-ride policy exceptions. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarpping 70% of loads) at orientation
