Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver for regional routes (Division 290) sought by System Transport. Responsibilities include operating flatbed equipment on regional/O TR routes, securing loads with tarps, and handling lifting tasks (up to 90 pounds) during tarping. Pay packages include weekly pay and annual pay with multiple accessorial pays (tarps, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses, and over-dimensional pay). Benefits offered after eligibility waiting period (health, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, EAP, PTO). Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; orientation and transition pay provided. Hiring qualifications emphasize valid CDL-A, age 21+, 4+ months driving experience, clean driving record, background check, drug test, and Clearinghouse compliance. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads
