Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver for regional routes with System Transport. Responsibilities include transporting flatbed loads such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals, tarping loads, load securement, and maintaining safety on specified regional/OTR routes. Competitive weekly and annual pay with accessorials (tarps, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses, tarp pay) and a transition/orientation package. Home time typically off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; multiple pay components depending on experience and route length; benefits after eligibility waiting period (health, dental, vision, 401(k), life, EAP, PTO accrual). Must meet CDL-A requirements, age, experience, and background/drug/Clearinghouse checks. Equal opportunity employer. Location hint includes Coldwater, MI and Kansas City, MO.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation
