Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver on a regional route for System Transport. Transporting goods such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. Includes orientation and transition pay, PTO, vacation time, health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with matching, and rider policy. Home time off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; monthly and weekly pay details vary by experience and route.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background check
- Clean drug test
- Clean Clearinghouse
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
- Ability to tarp loads on flatbed (about 70% of loads)
