Job Summary
Regional flatbed CDL-A driver position operating on regional routes for System Transport. Haul a variety of materials including glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals using flatbed equipment. Competitive pay with weekly pay, health and dental benefits, 401(k), PTO, transition/orientation pay, and generous home time (off most weekends for a 34-hour reset). Must have valid CDL-A, be 21+, and have 4+ months of driving experience; tarping loads (up to 90 pounds) and load-securement skills are required. Location for this posting is Beachwood, Ohio with typical home time off weekends; multiple pay components include per-mile rates ($0.57-$0.71/mi) and various accessorial pays; EOE. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Ability to lift 90-pound tarp onto 5-foot high platform twice (testing during orientation)
