Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver needed for regional routes with System Transport. Drive flatbed equipment to transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals in the western region and beyond. Competitive pay packages with weekly and annual earnings provided, plus accessorial pay (tarp, stop, detention, border crossing, and other bonuses as appropriate). Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; orientation and transition pay are included. Valid CDL-A, 21+, and a safe driving record required; recent CDL-A graduates may apply. The role emphasizes physical tarp handling (approximately 90 pounds) during orientation and on-the-job tarp duties, with benefits such as health/dental/vision, 401(k), and PTO available after eligibility waiting period. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
